Dunnabeck Horse Trials

Welcome to Dunnabeck Horse Trials

Dunnabeck Horse Trials is proud to host the 2009 USEA Area IV Championships. Approaching the 100-acre Dunnabeck site, one can’t help but be amazed how a one time plain pasture has been transformed into an emerald green vision of brightly colored stalls, beautifully mown fields, a secluded trail that opens into the picturesque cove of stadium jumps and the site of well crafted, challenging but safe cross-country jumps. wood_sceneThe happy looking, colorful playhouse - the last fence on course, awaits the final approach of the cross country riders. A dedicated group of volunteers encourage all competitors and keep the event rolling.

We have gorgeous rolling hills and beautiful well constructed jumps that will make your cross country experience memorable. Two water boxes surrounded by banks and hills all add to the fun. There are plenty of jumps hidden throughout the woods, with brick walls and Trakeners nestled in the side of the hill. Flowers abound as we take exceptional pride in our well decorated courses.

Sunday morning Show Jumping takes place in a shady grassy knoll, with all warm up fences close by and convenient. There is plenty of seating on the surrounding hill for all the spectators. Bring your own chairs and blankets and have a picnic breakfast as you watch the horses go by.
